Brett focuses his practice on real estate, estate planning, and elder law.
In addition to residential and commercial real estate transactions, will and trust executions, and probate and trust administrations, Brett has represented clients in matters related to clearing title to real estate, litigating estates and trusts, including will caveats, bringing guardianship proceedings for both minors and adults, and qualifying adults for Medicaid and veterans benefits.
Prior to Becoming a Practicing Attorney
Before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law, Brett spent more than a decade working behind the scenes for Time Warner as a news producer from CNN in Washington D.C., Bay News 9 in Tampa, FL, and News 14 Carolina in Raleigh, NC.
